Each SRV record must contain a specific value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 It is the name of the specific domain that the record should be valid for. Use the&nbsp;<strong><em>_service._protocol.domain<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;format. [don\u2019t forget to place (.) dot at the end].\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em><strong>_service<\/strong><\/em>: The name of the service. For example, _sip.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em><strong>_protocol<\/strong><\/em>: The transport protocol of the service. For example, _tcp or _udp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em><strong>domain<\/strong><\/em>: The domain name for which the SRV record is assigned. For example, sip.example.com.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>TTL<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Type the TTL (time to live) value for your SRV record. We recommend that you keep its default value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Priority<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 set required digit value for this record; the lower the value the more it is preferred.&nbsp;If you are unsure what value to use, type&nbsp;0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>weight<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 it is utilized to set records with the same priority; the higher the value the more it is preferred.&nbsp;If you are unsure what value to use, type&nbsp;0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>port<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;type the TCP or UDP port of the service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>target<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 type the&nbsp;hostname of the server&nbsp;running the service&nbsp;[don\u2019t forget to place (.) dot at the end].<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that the fields for service and protocol aren\u2019t included.
