You need to input one more crucial piece of information in addition to the login and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must enter the numeric password that is created on your mobile device to access the Hostvento client area. This will prevent unauthorized users from accessing your account. The added protection of two-factor authentication makes your account much more secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this article, we will get to know how you can enable or disable Two-factor authentication in Hostvento Client Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps for Enabling Two-Factor Authentication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, there are two things you need to use the two-factor authentication with your Hostvento hosting account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must install an authenticator app on your tablet or smartphone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For Android and Apple iOS devices, we recommended you to install the&nbsp;<strong>Google Authenticator App<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now to enable the two-factor authentication for your hosting account in the Hostvento client portal. Follow the steps given below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First step is, login to&nbsp;<strong>Hostvento Client Area<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Then, on the right side, click on menu bar. Here click in&nbsp;<strong>Your Profile.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/your-profile.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17085\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Open the Google Authenticator App on your mobile device, and scan the QR code which is displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, enter a&nbsp;<strong>6-digit numeric code&nbsp;<\/strong>generated on your mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Click on&nbsp;<strong>Submit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you will receive a message displayed as, \u201cTwo-Factor Authentication is now enabled\u201d. You should have this code, if in case you lose your mobile device. Or else, you will not be able to access your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps for Disabling Two-Factor Authentication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t want to use two-factor authentication with your hosting account, you can disable it.
