You may archive this data in a compressed file in your home directory once a month by setting cPanel. Additionally, you may set up cPanel to remove the stored log files from the preceding month. You may see the archived log file in any text editor after downloading and decompressing it to your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;Archived access logs are stored in the gzip file format and these files have a .gz file extension. If your computer works on Microsoft Windows, then you may need to download a program that can decompress .gz files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"># Steps to configure Raw Access Logs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Perform the following steps to configure raw access logs in cPanel :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in to cPanel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Perform one of the following :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 In case you are using the&nbsp;<strong>Paper Lantern<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>cPanel theme<\/strong>, then on the cPanel home screen go to the<strong>&nbsp;METRICS<\/strong>&nbsp;section and click&nbsp;<strong>Raw<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Access<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 In case you are using the&nbsp;<strong>x3 cPanel theme<\/strong>, then on the cPanel home screen go to the&nbsp;<strong>Logs<\/strong>&nbsp;section and click on&nbsp;<strong>Raw Access Logs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Also, if you want to archive logs at the end of each month, select the&nbsp;<strong>Archive logs in your home directory at the end of each month<\/strong>&nbsp;checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Now, you can select the&nbsp;<strong>Remove the previous month\u2019s archived logs from your home directory at the end of each month checkbox, to delete the archived logs for the previous month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Click on&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"># Steps to download Raw Access Logs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Perform the following steps to download the raw access logs from cPanel :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in to cPanel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.
