This page will describe how to use your account with several domain names if that is what you are looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is an addon domain?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can administer several domains under a single hosting account with the help of the cPanel addon domain. Addon domains, as opposed to parked domains, are intended for entirely distinct websites that are all hosted under a single cPanel account. First, register the domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In the cPanel\u2019s Addon Domain, go to the&nbsp;<strong>Domains<\/strong>&nbsp;section of the cPanel interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.com\/kb\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/addondomain-1-min.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.com\/kb\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/addondomain-1-min.png\" alt=\"Add on Domain\" class=\"wp-image-5967\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the New Domain Name field, enter your domain name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suppose we have a domain name&nbsp;<strong>cpdocs.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Make sure the next field contains appropriate&nbsp;<strong>FTP username<\/strong>. Here we will leave it as its default value,&nbsp;<strong>cpdocs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Make sure the document root is appropriate in the field. In this example, we will use a default value as<br><strong>home\/$user\/cpdocs.com\/<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Now enter the password you want to use with this domain, confirm the password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: While adding your addon domain you can see a checkbox for the FTP account, so only if you need an FTP account for the addon domain select the checkbox, otherwise don\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Click on the&nbsp;<strong>Add&nbsp;Domain<\/strong>&nbsp;button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.com\/kb\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Addon-Domain-2-min.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.com\/kb\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Addon-Domain-2-min.png\" alt=\"Addon Domain 2\" class=\"wp-image-5968\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>8.
