The Domain Name System is home to resource records known as Mail Exchanger Records, or MX Records. The mail server for the hosting<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>account that receives emails for the recipient’s domain is specified by it. It also provides a preference value to prioritize mail delivery if there are numerous mail servers. You may easily add and remove MX records using Webuzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Add MX Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Log in to your user<\/em> account of Webuzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Go to the Email<\/strong> section and click on MX Entry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

A list of present MX records will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Click on the Add Record<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Add New MX Record<\/em> window will appear. It will have details for the new MX record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Select Domain<\/strong>: The domain to induct the MX record.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Priority<\/strong>: The numeric value to indicate the priority of the MX record. (\u20180\u2019 means the highest priority)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Destination<\/strong>: A domain that acts as a destination for the email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    4. Enter the details in the specified fields and click on Add Record<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

    A success message will appear as the record is added to the list.<\/p>\n\n\n

    To Delete MX Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log in to your user<\/em> account of Webuzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Go to the Email<\/strong> section and click on MX Entry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

    3. Click the trash<\/em> icon of the MX record you want to delete.<\/p>\n\n\n

    A Warning<\/em> window will pop up asking for your confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n
