Admin users can utilize the Service Monitor tool in DirectAdmin to view the current state of any service running on their server. In addition, the application provides information about the PID(s) and total memory utilization and enables users to start, stop, restart, and reload server services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Access the DirectAdmin Service Monitor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in to DirectAdmin with your admin account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Go to the&nbsp;<strong>Admin Tools<\/strong>&nbsp;section and click on&nbsp;<strong>Service Monitor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.com\/kb\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/da_service_monitor.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13486\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The Service Monitor panel will open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, you will see a list of all the active services on your server. It also contains their&nbsp;<em>PIDs<\/em>&nbsp;and the amount of memory they use under&nbsp;<em>Memory Usage<\/em>. With it, you can check the status of any server service on your DirectAdmin server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, you can restart, stop and reload any service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All you have to do is click the&nbsp;<strong>+ icon<\/strong>&nbsp;for the service.
