Managing the administrators for your hosting is a responsibility that demands constant caution. Administrators can create and assign admin accounts, but occasionally you might need to temporarily disable them. Anytime an admin account has to be suspended or unsuspended, it’s simple to do so using DirectAdmin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Suspend an Admin Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Log in to your admin<\/em> account of the DirectAdmin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on List Administrators<\/strong> in the Account Manager<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n

As the name suggests, you will see the list of active administrators on your Web hosting<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Select the admin account\/accounts you want to suspend by ticking the box beside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Click on the Suspend <\/strong>button that will appear at the top-side of the list.<\/p>\n\n\n

5. Select a Reason<\/strong> to suspend the account from the dropdown list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also enter more Details<\/em> for the account suspension in the text field if you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also an option to Override Suspension Message<\/strong>. Ticking it will stop DirectAdmin from sending the suspension email to the admin user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Click the SUSPEND<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n

A tiny warning<\/em> icon will appear beside the suspended admin account in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n

To Unsuspend an Admin Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Log in to your admin<\/em> account of the DirectAdmin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
