An email signature is similar to an electronic calling card. It gives your email a polished appearance and increases the open rate of your receivers. Adding your signature to your email account is not possible with cPanel; instead, you will need to use Webmail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Access Webmail Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Log in to your cPanel account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on Email Accounts<\/strong> in the EMAIL<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n

A list of the email accounts currently active on your cPanel hosting <\/a><\/strong>will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Click the Check Email<\/strong> button to add a signature to the email account.<\/p>\n\n\n

It will redirect you to the Webmail interface, where you can set up signatures within your Webmail client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add a signature in Roundcube<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Open the Roundcube interface.<\/p>\n\n\n

2. Select Settings<\/strong> from the side menu bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Click on Identities<\/strong> in the Settings<\/strong> panel.<\/p>\n\n\n

A list of existing identities will appear. The email that appears with the identity will use the signature you are about to set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. You can either select an existing identity or make a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you choose to create a new identity, click the Create<\/strong> option and enter the details in the respective fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Click the HTML icon in the Signature<\/strong> field to add your signature.<\/p>\n\n\n

There is an array of options available to create your signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. You can type a text signature and also add an image. To add an image, click the image icon<\/strong> in the toolbar.<\/p>\n\n\n

A window will pop up where you can insert\/edit an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Select the browse icon<\/strong> beside the Source<\/strong> text box.<\/p>\n\n\n

8. Browse and upload an image from your local machine and click on the uploaded image.<\/p>\n\n\n

9. The details of the image will be automatically filled in the Source<\/strong> field. Click Ok<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

It will add the image to the Signature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

A message: Successfully saved<\/em> will flash. It means the Signature was added to the selected identity of your Webmail account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next time you compose an email in Roundcube, click the HTML icon in the message box for typing the mail.<\/p>\n\n\n

It will start composing the mail in HTML, which is why you will see the signature image you set for the email.<\/p>\n\n\n

Add a signature in Horde<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Open the Horde interface.<\/p>\n\n\n

2. Click the gear icon<\/strong> on the top-right of the interface beside cPanel Webmail Home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A menu will drop down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Go to Preferences <\/strong>and click on Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

A list of Preferences for Mail<\/strong> will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Click Personal Information<\/strong> in the General<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n

A form will appear where you can customize the personal information of your Webmail account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Enter the email address that will use this signature in the Your From: address: (optional)<\/strong> text box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Type the signature in the text box above the Save sent mail?<\/strong> option. You can go for a pure textual signature or, you can also add an image to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Click the image icon<\/strong> from the toolbar.<\/p>\n\n\n

A window will pop up where you can upload an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Click the Upload<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n

9. Click on Choose file<\/strong> to browse for the image and then click Upload<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

The image URL will appear in the URL<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Click OK<\/strong> to upload the image in the signature.<\/p>\n\n\n

As you can see, the signature will now have text as well as an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

A message: \u201cYour preferences have been updated.\u201d<\/em> will flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It means you will have successfully set up a signature for your Horde Webmail account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Click the gear icon<\/strong> on the top-right of the interface beside cPanel Webmail Home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A menu will drop down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. Go to Preferences <\/strong>and click on Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
