On contemporary Linux and Windows operating systems, you can evaluate possible problems with your server or even our network by using a variety of interesting tools. We will be discussing some of the ones we use in this section of the knowledge base; ideas are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ping<\/strong>
Ping, often known as latency, is a tool that tests device connectivity using the ICMP protocol. Sending packages to the target device and monitoring the reactions is how it operates. A “response”\u2014also known as the “ping,” in reference to the well-known ping-pong game\u2014is sent back to the asking computer if the target equipment is operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the \u201cStart\u201d menu and search for \u201cCMD<\/strong>\u201c, press enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A console screen should appear for you. (Ex:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter \u201cPING YOUR IP<\/strong>\u201c, eg: ping 103.165.209.176<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
