You can obtain a free SSL certificate for your domain from Let us Encrypt Certificate Authority if Plesk has the Let us Encrypt plugin installed. This certificate can be used to protect your domain, webmail, and the “www” subdomain for the domain as well as any chosen aliases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get a free SSL\/TLS certificate from Let\u2019s Encrypt:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Login to Plesk account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. In the left sidebar go to Websites & Domains > Let\u2019s Encrypt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Make reference to the email address that will be used for lost key recovery and urgent notifications. The email address of the subscription owner is provided by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. You can also include an alternative domain name for the domain and each selected alias. For example: www.example.com<\/strong> for example.com<\/strong>. It is recommended to select this checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Also, check the box \u201cSecure webmail on this domain\u201d<\/strong> if you want to include webmail<\/strong>. For example: webmail.example.com<\/strong>. It is recommended to select this checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. In case there are domain aliases, select the ones that you think should be included in the certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Next, click Install<\/strong> to get and install the Let\u2019s Encrypt certificate for the subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n

After the installation of the certificate is completed, you can use it to secure your site:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Navigate to Websites & Domains<\/strong> and click Hosting Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Tick the SSL\/TLS<\/strong> support checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Select the Let\u2019s Encrypt certificate you have received from the Certificate<\/strong> menu, and click OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
