However, there can be occasions when you need to use a management panel like Plesk to start, halt, or restart the system services on your DV server. A server crash, a momentary glitch, or the application of fresh configurations could all be the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Start, Stop or Restart System Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in as an&nbsp;administrator&nbsp;in Plesk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Select the&nbsp;<strong>Tools and Settings<\/strong>&nbsp;option from the side menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. They represent the functions-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start<\/strong>: Green-colored&nbsp;<em>Play\/arrow<\/em>&nbsp;icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stop<\/strong>: Red-colored&nbsp;<em>Stop\/box<\/em>&nbsp;icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restart<\/strong>: Yellow-colored&nbsp;<em>Restart<\/em><em>\/<\/em><em>r<\/em><em>eplay<\/em>&nbsp;icon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hostvento.com\/kb\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/plesk_services_start_stop_restart.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13796\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Note<\/strong>: If a button is not clickable and grey-colored, that means the function is inactive at the moment.
