How to install and configure WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin

The WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin prints shipping labels automatically and calculates taxes based on the shipping zone. This post will explain how to install and set up the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin so that WordPress-powered websites may compute shipping prices and generate shipping labels.

Installing Configuring WooCommerce Shipping & Tax in WordPress

To configure and use WooCommerce Shipping Extension in your WordPress website, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress site with an administrator account.
2. On the Dashboardin the left sidebar, click Plugins, and then click Add New:
3. Search for “WooCommerce Shipping & Tax” and then install and activate the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax Plugin:

4. On the Dashboardin the left sidebar, click WooCommerce, and then click Settings:
   
5. Activate JetPackif has not been activated:
   
6. Click on the Shipping tab:
   
7. Click on the Add Shipping Zone button to set up how much will it cost to send a product to an specific area/region:

9. Enter the name of the zone, coverage area, and the shipping method which could be any of the following:
   • Flat rate
   • Free shipping
   • Local pickup
   
10. To print shipping labels, click on WooCommerce Shipping:
    
11. Select a label size, and the payment method for the shipping label and click Save changes:
    
12. Easily open any order and print the shipping label and send the product to the customer after this configuration.
