Six Simple Steps to Reset Your WHMCS Admin Password
As a precautionary step, it is advised that the admin reset option on WHMCS be disabled, as you may all be aware. It’s possible that many of you have disabled it. You won’t be able to communicate with your company if you misplace the admin password. You can use MySQL to reset the WHMCS admin password, so there’s no need to worry.
If you have a cPanel server, follow the below steps to reset your WHMCS admin password:
1. Login to cPanel.
2. Select phpMyAdmin and navigate into the phpMyAdmin

3. Search for your WHMCS database in the left sidebar navigation of phpMyAdmin and click on it.
4. Next you need to search for the table “tbladmins”. Once you select the table, click on “Browse” and then find the administrator for which you want to change the password and click on “Edit”.

If you don’t remember the database name of your WHMCS installation, you can check the configuration.php file located in the root folder:

5. On the next page, go to the “Password” section and select “MD5” from the drop down menu and then type your new password.

6. Click on the Go button and then try logging to WHMCS with the new admin password.
