This article explains how to access and exit cPanel in order to administer your Hostvento  website. We will also give a brief overview of cPanel.

Logging in to cPanel:-
Two ways to log in to a cPanel account:
– Use the Hostvento Customer Portal to gain access to cPanel. Since you can access cPanel without needing to remember a unique URL or domain name, this is the recommended method.
– Access cPanel directly.

Method #1: Access cPanel Through the Hostvento Customer Portal
To access cPanel through the Customer Portal, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal.
  2. On the menu bar, click SERVICES, and then click MY SERVICES:

3. Under My Products & Services, Add Your Product & Services :

4. In the Actions sidebar, click Login to cPanel

“In a separate window, the Customer Portal automatically logs you in to your cPanel account”

Method #2: Access cPanel Directly
To log in to cPanel directly, follow these steps:

  1. In your web browser, type the cPanel address for your web site. The address is either http://www.example.com:2082 or https://www.example.com:2083, where example.com is your domain name.
    The cPanel login page appears:

2. In the Username text box, type your Hostvento account username.
“If you do not know your cPanel username and password, you can view them in the Hostvento Customer Portal.“

3. In the Password text box, type your Hostvento account password.

4. Click Log in. When you enter the correct username and password, the cPanel home screen appears.

Logging out of cPanel:-
After using cPanel for the last time, you should log out to let the web server know that your session is over. The server will automatically end your session after a predetermined amount of time if you do not log out. There is a slim chance, nonetheless, that an attacker will take advantage of the open connection before this automated logout takes place.

To log out of cPanel, follow this step:
– If you are using the Jupiter theme, click the user menu in the top-right corner, and then click Log Out:

– If you are using the Paper Lantern theme, in the top-right corner, click LOGOUT:

More Information:-

What is cPanel?
An intuitive and award-winning graphical control panel is called cPanel. You can easily manage your files, databases, emails, websites, and more from within your Linux hosting account with cPanel! Even web experts like cPanel’s advanced capabilities, such as FTP usage, and its ease of use, even though it is highly popular among inexperienced users.

Two main interfaces are available with cPanel. The first is Web Host Manager (WHM), and the second is cPanel. Web hosts (as well as resellers) can run their web hosting businesses with WHM. You can manage clients, establish hosting packages, and much more using WHM!

cPanel features:-
A ton of features in cPanel are designed to make website owners’ lives easier. Your cPanel account comes with a number of features, such as:

  1. Softaculous is one of the most well-liked and frequently utilized services in your cPanel account with Hostvento . In addition to adding a folder, you may work with your files using the File Manager to copy, upload, delete, download, restore, rename, and modify them! Additionally, you can use cPanel to check each email account. Every email account has the option to have a different password set up as needed.
  6. Databases: Managing your databases does not require you to be a web developer or system administrator. Numerous tools are available in cPanel to assist you in crediting, updating, editing, and deleting your databases.
  7. Statistics: With built-in tools like Awstats, Analog stats, and Webalizer, you can monitor all the activity taking place on your account and on your websites!

The cPanel’s past
Owners of websites want to be certain that the web solutions they select can handle their hard work and enterprises. cPanel is a well-established solution that was founded in 1996. It has earned a solid reputation as a reliable solution. With the debut of WHM in 1999, cPanel’s capacity to further simplify server management truly propelled it to new heights. In the middle of 2018, Oakley Capital purchased cPanel. Since Oakley Capital also owns the Plesk control panel, this acquisition made them a formidable force in the control panel and hosting sectors. The Managed WordPress hosting package from Hostvento utilizes the Plesk control panel.
